Press – mid-rise condominium conversion on Seattle’s Capitol Hill.

Press is a 141-unit apartment-to-condominium conversion project in the Pike/Pine neighborhood of Capitol Hill in Seattle. The Wysong Group hired the Matrix team in 2006 to assume management of the sales and marketing of this project, which was already underway at the time.

Matrix worked with the seller to develop a strategy for sales releases and pricing for the future phases of the project. We reviewed the past marketing program, making tweaks as necessary for efficiency and targeting.

We hired an onsite sales team to sit the sales office and model homes open daily. Reporting included a daily traffic report, weekly deal tracking report, and weekly sales and developer team meeting.

Ongoing marketing included database management and regular emails and person-to-person contact, broker outreach, online advertising, traditional advertising, signage and direct mail marketing.

The final home closed in early 2008, just in the nick of time before the downturn took hold.
