Sylvan Ridge – new townhome community in West Seattle.

Sylvan Ridge is a community of new townhomes on the hillside of West Seattle, close to Westwood Village and Morgan Junction shopping, and also convenient to Lincoln Park, Alki and a commute to SoDo or Downtown Seattle.

Our team was engaged in 2005 to consult on sales and marketing of the Sylvan Ridge community by a Portland-based developer. At the time we began work, the site map and floorplans were largely in place.

We assisted with the floorplan finalization, interior and exterior specification recommendations, hiring of a graphic designer and management of the graphic design process and layout of the garage sales office. We worked with the developer on legal documents, and formulation of a construction and sales release schedule.

The project went to sale starting in 2007 and started well, then we hit the economic recession in 2008. Matrix stayed on the job selling 60% of the available homes with a consistent sales team until 2012, when the developer lost the project to their bank.
